Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for welding metal parts together to fabricate or repair products according to blueprints, diagrams, and specifications. Job Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and welding process specifications.
- Operate welding equipment to weld metal parts together using various welding processes, such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding.
- Set up welding machines and adjust settings to achieve desired weld quality.
- Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding by removing rust, dirt, and contaminants.
- Inspect welds for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Adhere to welding codes and regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in welding or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Proficiency in welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Familiarity with different types of welding equipment and tools.
